Size and Shape Flexibility with a Diverse Color Palette Sioux City Brick has always maintained a flexible production approach: flexibility in colors, sizes and special shapes, Size Flexiblity was designed into both of our production facilities. We have recognized that designers want size choices. ( COMPARATIVE COSTS ). Additionally, both manufacturing locations have separate special shape extrusion lines. Sioux City Brick manufactures several hundred thousand custom brick shapes annually. Starting with the designer's drawings, CAD isometric drawings are produced for customer approval. Then, templates are made for all shapes, and the shapes are made and fired along with the stretcher brick. Close coordination of shape detailing is emphasized throughout this process.
